Top Lease Deals for Businesses
The Renault Trafic Electric offers businesses a range of leasing options to suit their specific needs and financial preferences. These deals provide flexibility and cost-effectiveness for companies looking to incorporate electric vans into their fleet.Contract Hire Options
Contract Hire has emerged as an ideal solution for businesses that prefer to avoid the financial risks associated with owning and maintaining their own vehicle fleets. This option also reduces the administrative burden of purchasing, servicing, and disposing of company vehicles. The process typically involves three straightforward steps:- An upfront payment of an advanced rental, ranging from 3 to 12 months.
- Fixed monthly rentals for the duration of the contract.
- At the end of the agreement, the vehicle is simply returned to the leasing company.
Lease Purchase Plans
Lease Purchase offers businesses the option to own the vehicle at the end of the agreement. This Hire Purchase agreement provides fixed repayments and interest rates based on the purchase price minus the deposit. It also allows for deferring a portion of the vehicle’s cost to a final balloon payment at the end of the term, resulting in lower monthly payments compared to standard Hire Purchase arrangements. The Lease Purchase process typically involves two main steps:- The initial deposit, which the business determines based on their preferences and financial situation.
- The remaining balance to fund, which forms the basis for calculating the monthly payments.

Benefits for Business Users
Cost Savings
Businesses opting for the Renault Trafic Electric can enjoy substantial cost savings. The electric van offers significantly lower running costs compared to petrol or diesel alternatives. This reduction in operational expenses has an influence on the overall financial health of the company. Moreover, companies can benefit from fixed monthly payments that include the chassis, bodywork, batteries, financing, maintenance contract, and charging infrastructure. This comprehensive package allows businesses to have complete peace of mind when transitioning to electric vehicles. Another cost-saving advantage comes from the vehicle’s exemption from various charges. The Renault Trafic Electric is exempt from road tax until at least 2025, providing further financial relief for businesses. Additionally, it is not subject to Congestion Charge or Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charges when driving in London, resulting in significant savings for companies operating in urban areas.Environmental Impact
The Renault Trafic Electric has a positive influence on a company’s environmental footprint. With zero emissions while driving, it allows businesses to operate in urban areas without constraints, even in Low Emission Zones (LEZ). This capability has an impact on a company’s ability to meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations. The van’s impressive range of up to 394 kilometres (depending on configuration, driving style, and time of year) ensures that businesses can cover their daily missions without compromising on environmental performance. This extended range, certified by the WLTP City type approval cycle, allows companies to embrace sustainable transport solutions without sacrificing operational efficiency. Furthermore, the Renault Trafic Electric’s quiet operation contributes to reducing noise pollution in urban areas. This feature not only benefits the environment but also enhances the driving experience for employees, making city and country driving alike more pleasant.Tax Advantages
Businesses leasing the Renault Trafic Electric can benefit from various tax advantages. One significant benefit is the ability to claim back any tax expenses linked to the lease, provided it meets set criteria. This can result in substantial savings for the business. For companies with an annual turnover of £85,000 or more, Business Contract Hire offers a 50% reduction in VAT costs, leading to lower monthly payments. Additionally, businesses can take advantage of the 100% First Year Write Down Allowance, allowing them to deduct the full cost of the vehicle from their profits before tax. The Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax also favours electric vans. Currently, there is no BIK charge for electric vans, resulting in substantial savings for both the employer and the employee. This tax benefit extends to the electricity used for charging the van, with no BIK levied on the electricity used for this purpose. Lastly, businesses can benefit from reduced National Insurance rates. As these rates are determined by the vehicle’s P11D value and relevant BIK rates, the low BIK rates for electric vehicles translate to lower NI contributions for the company. Conclusion
The Renault Trafic Electric is changing the game for businesses looking to go green without sacrificing functionality. This all-electric van offers a perfect blend of eco-friendliness and practicality, with its impressive range, versatile charging options, and spacious design. The various leasing deals available make it easier for companies to embrace this cutting-edge technology, allowing them to reduce their carbon footprint while keeping costs in check. For business users, the Trafic Electric brings a host of benefits to the table. From substantial cost savings and tax advantages to its positive impact on the environment, this van is more than just a mode of transport – it’s a smart business decision. As cities worldwide push for cleaner air and lower emissions, the Renault Trafic Electric stands out as a forward-thinking choice for companies ready to lead the charge in sustainable commercial transportation.FAQs

Swiss vans are a fantastic company to deal with .From the first meeting we had they delivered everything that was asked of them , my transporter was fitted with everything I asked for with expertise as my expectations was met to the letter .if you are thinking of getting your self a transporter that gets everything you expect and ask for this is definitely the company to use . I was worried first as I shoped about and some of the quotes I received was astronomical with other companies, but I feel as a customer a customer of swiss vans i looked after in everything that I was promised so I would definitely recommend these guys and I will no doubt use their services again in the future..... David jones .... thanks Tom Jones for all your help ....

I don't normally leave reviews but I can't recommend these guys enough, seriously - anyone that's looking to buy a van or other commercial vehicle, give these guy's a call, ask for Tom because you won't be disappointed...!!!
I needed a commercial vehicle for private use as I'm not self employed and therefore paying the VAT upfront is quite a chunk of money to loose so needed it to be wrapped up in the monthly repayment. I'd already tried several other companies before Swiss Vans and non of them were interested. I'd pretty much given up and was looking at 2nd Hand vans until I came across Swiss Vans advert on Facebook. I sent a message (with very low expectation) and the next day I was contacted by Tom Jones (yes, a Welshman called Tom Jones who sells vans...!!!). Tom is the first person that actually took the time to listen to what I needed and how I needed it work. He went away and came back a couple of hours later and explained that initially this wasn't going to be easy to achieve but to leave it with him and that he'd call me the next day. To be honest, I didn't think I'd hear from him again but true to his word he called me the next day and said that he had it all worked out, all agreed and all in place ready to go. Tom fired over the paperwork, I paid the small holding deposit and a few weeks later the vans been delivered and completely exceeded my expectations.
I'm a great believer that 'People buy People', yes Swiss Vans are truly excellent and I'd go as far as to say that in my experience, they're better than the rest but like all other companies they're only as good as the people they have working for them. Tom - I can't thank you enough, you're a credit to Swiss Vans, and Swiss Vans - you're outstanding.
