Benefits of Leasing a Renault Trafic
Cost Savings
Leasing a Renault Trafic presents a cost-effective solution for businesses, particularly limited companies. By opting for a lease, companies can avoid the substantial upfront costs associated with purchasing a van outright. This approach allows businesses to preserve their funds for essential expenses and growth opportunities. One of the primary advantages of leasing is the reduced monthly payments compared to traditional financing options. When a company chooses to lease a Renault Trafic, they only pay for the use of the vehicle during a specific period, rather than its entire value. This results in lower monthly installments, making it an attractive option for businesses looking to manage their cash flow effectively. Moreover, the lower borrowing amount required for leasing increases the likelihood of securing finance approval. This is especially beneficial for newer limited companies that may have limited credit history or financial resources.Flexibility Renault Trafic Lease
Leasing a Renault Trafic offers businesses remarkable flexibility in terms of contract duration, mileage packages, and upgrade options. This adaptability allows companies to tailor their lease agreements to suit their specific needs and budget constraints. One of the key advantages of leasing is the ability to upgrade to newer models at the end of the lease term. As businesses grow and evolve, their vehicle requirements may change. Leasing enables companies to adapt to these changing needs by providing the opportunity to switch to a different Renault Trafic model or configuration that better suits their current requirements. This flexibility extends to accessing the latest features and technology. By regularly upgrading through leasing, businesses can ensure they always have access to the most advanced Renault Trafic models. This can include improvements in fuel efficiency, safety features, and onboard technology, which can contribute to increased productivity and driver satisfaction.Tax Advantages Renault Trafic Lease
Leasing a Renault Trafic can offer significant tax benefits for businesses. Lease payments typically qualify as tax-deductible expenses, which can help reduce a company’s taxable income and overall tax liabilities. This tax advantage can result in substantial savings for businesses, especially when compared to the depreciation deductions associated with owning a vehicle outright. Another notable tax benefit is the ability to reclaim 100% of the VAT paid on the van lease. This can represent a considerable saving for VAT-registered businesses, further enhancing the cost-effectiveness of leasing a Renault Trafic. It’s important to note that while these tax advantages can be significant, businesses should consult with a tax professional to understand the specific implications for their situation, as tax laws and regulations may vary. In addition to these key benefits, leasing a Renault Trafic often includes maintenance packages and warranty coverage. This can save businesses from unexpected repair costs and provide peace of mind throughout the lease term. By bundling these services into the lease agreement, companies can better predict and manage their vehicle-related expenses.Renault Trafic Leasing Options
When it comes to leasing a Renault Trafic, businesses have several options to choose from, each with its own advantages and considerations. The three main leasing options available for the Renault Trafic are Contract Hire, Lease Purchase, and Finance Lease. Let’s explore each of these options in detail to help businesses make an informed decision.Contract Hire
Contract Hire, also known as Business Contract Hire (BCH), is a popular choice for businesses looking to lease a Renault Trafic. This option provides a straightforward and convenient way to access the latest models of commercial vehicles without the concerns of ownership and depreciation. Key features of Contract Hire include:- Fixed monthly payments for a flexible contract duration (typically two to five years)
- An initial rental or deposit, usually equivalent to 3-12 monthly payments
- A predetermined annual mileage limit
- Inclusion of road tax and optional service and breakdown cover in the monthly fee
Lease Purchase
Lease Purchase (LP) is a flexible finance option that allows businesses to pay for a new or used Renault Trafic over a set period. This option shares similarities with Hire Purchase but has some distinct features:- Option to make advance payments instead of an upfront deposit
- Minimal monthly repayments
- Possibility of a balloon payment at the end of the contract
Finance Lease
Finance Lease is a leasing option available exclusively for businesses, offering a balance between the benefits of leasing and the flexibility of ownership. This option is particularly recommended for leasing commercial vehicles like tipper vans, Luton vans, or dropsides, where there’s a higher risk of damage. Key aspects of Finance Lease include:- Fixed agreement duration and annual mileage limits, similar to Contract Hire
- Lower monthly payments compared to Business Contract Hire
- Requirement to sell the van to a third party at the end of the agreement or have the funder sell it on your behalf for a fee
- A balloon payment at the end of the lease term, representing the estimated value of the vehicle
- Avoidance of excess mileage or damage charges typically associated with Contract Hire
- Possibility of keeping the difference if the van is sold for more than the balloon payment
- Lower monthly payments due to a portion of the leasing cost being included in the balloon payment

Selecting the appropriate Renault Trafic model for a business is crucial to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. - Available in various trim levels to suit different business needs
Comparing Trafic Leasing to Competitors
The Renault Trafic faces stiff competition in the commercial van market, particularly from well-established rivals such as the Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes-Benz Vito, and Volkswagen Transporter. When considering leasing options, businesses need to evaluate how the Trafic stacks up against these competitors in terms of performance, features, and overall value.Ford Transit Custom
The Ford Transit Custom has long been a popular choice in the commercial van sector. It offers a range of engine options, including mild hybrid variants, which can provide improved fuel efficiency for businesses concerned about running costs. The Transit Custom also boasts a spacious and well-designed interior, with various configurations available to suit different business needs. When it comes to leasing, the Ford Transit Custom often has competitive rates due to its strong residual values. This can result in lower monthly payments compared to some other vans in its class. However, businesses should carefully compare the specific lease terms and packages available for both the Transit Custom and the Renault Trafic, as promotions and deals can vary significantly between manufacturers and leasing companies. Swiss vans are a fantastic company to deal with .From the first meeting we had they delivered everything that was asked of them , my transporter was fitted with everything I asked for with expertise as my expectations was met to the letter .if you are thinking of getting your self a transporter that gets everything you expect and ask for this is definitely the company to use . I was worried first as I shoped about and some of the quotes I received was astronomical with other companies, but I feel as a customer a customer of swiss vans i looked after in everything that I was promised so I would definitely recommend these guys and I will no doubt use their services again in the future..... David jones .... thanks Tom Jones for all your help ....

I don't normally leave reviews but I can't recommend these guys enough, seriously - anyone that's looking to buy a van or other commercial vehicle, give these guy's a call, ask for Tom because you won't be disappointed...!!!
I needed a commercial vehicle for private use as I'm not self employed and therefore paying the VAT upfront is quite a chunk of money to loose so needed it to be wrapped up in the monthly repayment. I'd already tried several other companies before Swiss Vans and non of them were interested. I'd pretty much given up and was looking at 2nd Hand vans until I came across Swiss Vans advert on Facebook. I sent a message (with very low expectation) and the next day I was contacted by Tom Jones (yes, a Welshman called Tom Jones who sells vans...!!!). Tom is the first person that actually took the time to listen to what I needed and how I needed it work. He went away and came back a couple of hours later and explained that initially this wasn't going to be easy to achieve but to leave it with him and that he'd call me the next day. To be honest, I didn't think I'd hear from him again but true to his word he called me the next day and said that he had it all worked out, all agreed and all in place ready to go. Tom fired over the paperwork, I paid the small holding deposit and a few weeks later the vans been delivered and completely exceeded my expectations.
I'm a great believer that 'People buy People', yes Swiss Vans are truly excellent and I'd go as far as to say that in my experience, they're better than the rest but like all other companies they're only as good as the people they have working for them. Tom - I can't thank you enough, you're a credit to Swiss Vans, and Swiss Vans - you're outstanding.
