The latest Renault Trafic Luton van , aptly nicknamed the ‘Mini Aerovan’, boasts an impressive aerodynamic design. Every aspect of the van’s exterior has been subjected to rigorous wind tunnel analysis to optimise air flow management. This attention to detail has resulted in a more streamlined shape, despite the slightly bluff front end. See all Renault Trafic for sale The aerodynamic enhancements have a substantial impact on the van’s efficiency. The reduction in drag has led to a decrease of nearly 40g/km in CO2 emissions, making it an environmentally friendly choice for businesses. Additionally, these improvements help to extend the driving range of the electric version, allowing it to cover up to 285 miles on a single charge. See Renault Trafic Lease Interestingly, during the testing phase, Renault had to build a reduced-size model of the van, as their wind tunnel was too small to accommodate the full-sized vehicle. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to perfecting the aerodynamics of the new Renault Trafic Luton Van. See New Renault Trafic

Dimensions and payload capacity
The 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van offers impressive dimensions and payload capacity, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial applications. The van is available in various sizes, with the largest model providing a substantial load volume of up to 10 m3. This spacious interior allows for the transportation of large items such as washing machines or fridge-freezers, making it ideal for courier services and local removal businesses. See Luton Vans for sale In terms of payload, the new Renault Trafic Luton van can carry up to 1,050kg, depending on the specific model and configuration. This payload capacity is particularly noteworthy when compared to other Luton and low loader vans currently available in the market. The FWD (Front Wheel Drive) configuration contributes to this impressive payload capacity, as it allows for a lower loading height and increased cargo space. The van’s dimensions have been carefully designed to maximise efficiency without compromising on practicality. The Renault Master Luton van dimensions offer ample space for various delivery and transportation needs, making it a versatile choice for businesses of all sizes.Loading accessibility
One of the standout features of the 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van is its exceptional loading accessibility. The van has been designed with the needs of professionals in mind, offering several features that facilitate easy and quick loading and unloading. The loading height of the FWD models is a mere 546mm, significantly lower than the rear-wheel-drive versions which have a loading height of 700mm. This lower loading height reduces strain on workers who need to frequently access the cargo area throughout the day. To further enhance accessibility, the van comes equipped with a fixed rear step. This feature, combined with the low loading height, makes it considerably easier for operators to load and unload goods, especially heavy or bulky items. The rear barn doors of the Renault Trafic Luton van are another notable feature. These doors can open up to 270 degrees, allowing them to sit flush against the exterior walls of the van when fully open. This design ensures that the doors do not obstruct the available space during loading and unloading operations. See all Luton van lease deals. Inside the cargo area, the van is fitted with LED lighting, providing clear visibility even in low-light conditions. Additionally, the van comes standard with 10 load lashing points and a protective floor covering, ensuring that cargo can be securely fastened and protected during transit. The Renault Trafic Luton van also offers the largest sliding side door in its category, further improving access to the cargo area. This feature is particularly useful when loading or unloading in tight spaces where opening the rear doors might be impractical. These thoughtful design elements and accessibility features contribute to the overall efficiency of the 2024 Renault Master Luton van, making it an excellent choice for businesses that prioritise ease of use and productivity in their commercial vehicles.

The 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van offers impressive performance and efficiency, making it a standout choice for businesses seeking a versatile commercial vehicle. With a range of engine options and improved fuel economy, this new model delivers enhanced capabilities for various delivery and transportation needs.Engine options and power output

The diesel models are equipped with a smooth and precise six-speed manual gearbox as standard, while a new nine-speed automatic transmission is available for those preferring a more relaxed driving experience. The electric variant features a single-speed transmission, providing seamless acceleration.Fuel economy
The 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van demonstrates significant improvements in fuel efficiency compared to its predecessors. The diesel versions have seen a remarkable increase in fuel economy, with some models achieving up to 40.9mpg on the combined cycle. This represents a substantial improvement of up to 7.3mpg compared to the previous generation. The enhanced fuel efficiency has resulted in a reduction of CO2 emissions by up to 39g/km compared to the outgoing Trafic. Depending on the specific engine and configuration, CO2 emissions range between 196 and 236g/km, making the new Renault Master Luton van a more environmentally conscious choice for businesses. For those opting for the electric version, the Master E-Tech offers an impressive range of up to 285 miles, outperforming many competitors in its class. This extended range has been achieved through a combination of the large 87kWh battery and the van’s aerodynamic design, allowing for longer delivery routes without the need for frequent charging stops.Handling and manoeuvrability
Despite its size, the 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van offers surprisingly nimble handling and impressive manoeuvrability. The van’s steering is responsive and well-weighted, making it feel more manageable in urban environments than its dimensions might suggest. This is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in congested city centres or navigating tight delivery locations. The new generation Master features a shorter wheelbase than its predecessor, resulting in a tighter turning radius. This improvement allows drivers to navigate narrow streets and tight corners with greater ease, enhancing overall manoeuvrability and reducing delivery mileage. The suspension setup strikes a good balance between load-carrying capability and ride comfort. It effectively absorbs road imperfections, even when the van is unladen, providing a smooth and comfortable ride for both driver and cargo. The Master demonstrates stable handling and minimal body roll through corners, inspiring confidence in various driving conditions, especially when fully loaded. For added convenience and safety, the new Renault Master Luton van is equipped with features such as hill-start assist, which prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting on an incline. This feature is particularly useful when manoeuvring in hilly urban areas or navigating multi-story car parks during deliveries.Interior and Technology
The 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van offers a significantly improved interior, focusing on driver comfort, advanced technology, and practical features to enhance the overall driving experience.Cabin comfort and ergonomics
The new Renault Master Luton van boasts a driver-oriented cockpit designed to make daily business operations easier. The S-shaped dashboard, inspired by truck interiors, creates a car-like environment while maintaining a functional layout. This design approach has resulted in improved ergonomics compared to the previous Master model. The cabin provides an impressive 135 litres of storage space, a 25% increase from its predecessor. This includes large door pockets, an enormous glovebox, an overhead shelf, and under-seat compartments. The central seat folds down to reveal a mobile workspace, complete with cupholders, trays, and a rotating section designed for laptops. Seating comfort has been enhanced with redesigned seats offering better support for long journeys. The driver’s seat features lumbar adjustment, ensuring a comfortable position behind the wheel. This is particularly beneficial for those spending extended periods in the new Renault Trafic Luton van during delivery routes.Infotainment system
At the heart of the Master’s technology offerings is the OpenR Link multimedia system, featuring a large 10-inch touchscreen. This system comes standard across the Master line-up, providing a user-friendly and streamlined interface that can be controlled like a smartphone. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers to easily access their smartphone apps on the screen. This feature proves invaluable for managing communications and navigation during deliveries, potentially reducing delivery mileage by providing efficient route planning. For those opting for the Advance trim or higher, the OpenR Link system with Google built-in becomes available. This advanced system includes Google Maps, Google Assistant, and access to a catalogue of apps via Google Play. The Google Assistant allows drivers to control various functions through voice commands, such as adjusting the temperature or reading messages, without taking their hands off the wheel. An interesting feature for businesses using converted vans is the ability to integrate controls for conversion equipment into the multimedia system. For instance, drivers can control a refrigerated unit directly from the touchscreen, adding an extra layer of convenience to specialised delivery operations.Driver assistance features
The 2024 Renault Trafic Luton van comes equipped with an impressive array of 20 advanced driver assistance systems, significantly enhancing safety and ease of operation. These features are part of Renault’s ‘Human First’ programme, designed to protect both the driver and other road users. I don't normally leave reviews but I can't recommend these guys enough, seriously - anyone that's looking to buy a van or other commercial vehicle, give these guy's a call, ask for Tom because you won't be disappointed...!!!
I needed a commercial vehicle for private use as I'm not self employed and therefore paying the VAT upfront is quite a chunk of money to loose so needed it to be wrapped up in the monthly repayment. I'd already tried several other companies before Swiss Vans and non of them were interested. I'd pretty much given up and was looking at 2nd Hand vans until I came across Swiss Vans advert on Facebook. I sent a message (with very low expectation) and the next day I was contacted by Tom Jones (yes, a Welshman called Tom Jones who sells vans...!!!). Tom is the first person that actually took the time to listen to what I needed and how I needed it work. He went away and came back a couple of hours later and explained that initially this wasn't going to be easy to achieve but to leave it with him and that he'd call me the next day. To be honest, I didn't think I'd hear from him again but true to his word he called me the next day and said that he had it all worked out, all agreed and all in place ready to go. Tom fired over the paperwork, I paid the small holding deposit and a few weeks later the vans been delivered and completely exceeded my expectations.
I'm a great believer that 'People buy People', yes Swiss Vans are truly excellent and I'd go as far as to say that in my experience, they're better than the rest but like all other companies they're only as good as the people they have working for them. Tom - I can't thank you enough, you're a credit to Swiss Vans, and Swiss Vans - you're outstanding.
